Clear answers to the questions that make choosing a tracking solution easier.
How often will my vehicle’s location update?
Update frequency depends on the tracker, its reporting settings, power mode and network coverage. Always check the timestamp: the last reported position is not a guarantee of the vehicle’s current location.
What happens if a tracker loses its connection?
The platform can only show the information it has received. Some compatible devices store positions while offline and upload them after reconnecting; confirm whether your chosen tracker supports this.
Which alerts can I receive?
This depends on your hardware and the rules enabled for your account. Discuss geofence crossings, speeding, movement, connection status and supported device alarms with us. Delivery also depends on connectivity and the notification channel.
How long can I view previous journeys?
History depends on the retention period included in your service and the data received from your tracker. Ask us to confirm retention and export options before choosing a setup.
Can different people manage different vehicles?
Discuss vehicle groups and user permissions with us so access can be set up for your team. Each person should use their own authorised account.
What do I need to get started?
